Website Launch!
Published on October 31, 2026 at 12:00 AMIf you are seeing this, WitchWorks has launched! Welcome!
More can be gleaned from the about page, but essentially, WitchWorks began as a personal incentive to see forward progress in my own endeavors.
I felt that I was stagnating due to the poor creative environment that the internet has become over the past couple decades; the advertising hellscape that social media has grown into has conditioned us all to be storefronts for our own skills, and this has put creativity into survival mode rather than truly being encouraged. I wanted a place I could show off my work without any true incentives, a place I had control over and was free of the usual trappings of today's internet. This is also why the website is styled as it is, it is a modern interpretation of a long gone era. Finally, I had figured that these ideals might ring true among my peers, so I made sure to build it from the ground up as a place that didn't just house myself, but could support a community.
With that in mind, I hope you find WitchWorks to be a comfortable refuge away from the common stresses of our modern lives. Feel free to say hi on the forums, and I hope that we can all inspire each other to build great art!
